Message Two (2) on each side seems to work fine. The key is to NOT place any weight on the what looks like the forward section of the pinch weld, but is actually the fender lip that extends between the wheel well and the front door seam. e.g., all spacers should be located to the rear of the front door gap supporting the unibody. When you see buckled fenders its because a jack or lift arm was place under the forward fender area.

To be safe, however, I've ordered a set of 3" high spacers w/ 1/2" deep slot cut for pinch weld and will use three (3) per side.
